"Hello, my name is 'Wu' and I am the Kung Fu 4 Kids mascot. I was choosen for this honourable role because I am a Whitecrane. Whitecrane Kung Fu is one of the two styles of Kung Fu practiced at this club! Our Kung Fu 4 Kids club currently offers 9 classes per week with 6 of these classes suitable for new members. New kids between the ages of 5 and 7 years old have a specific class tailored for their age group. Our 'Little cranes' program is dedicated to teaching quality martial arts and building concentration, confidence and coordination through a fun and safe class format.

Likewise our new kids between the ages of 8 and 10 enter our 'Shouting cranes' program. Our classes designed to challenge and stimulate our members guide the children through a 10 belt program building their martial arts skills in a positive and healthy environment.

The Motto for our club is "Play is the Way!" and has been since we opened our doors in 1984. This approach to Martial Arts training not only offers all the benefits of training in a quality Martial Arts club but guarantees that each training session is packed full of fun....... More info..

Spring term 2012 and Easter camp!

Classes

We are now enrolling for our New Spring Term which begins in January 2012. We have made some changes to our Kung Fu 4 Kids program by adding iin our 'Fighting Cranes' category. This will allow us to expand the number of places available at the acdemy but most importantly will allow us to split the levels (age, size and ability) to an even deeper level. This will give all of our members a better environment to thrive at their own pace!

Please note there was a mis-print on the enrolment form indicating an incorrect class on the Wednesday & and incorrrect time on the Thursday timetables please see the amended schedule here !

All of our classes for our current term running from September until December are completely full, so we expect to offer places to new members once the enrolment dealine for our existing members passes on the 19th of December.. More info..

Easter Camp 2012

Over the next Easter Mid term we are running our ever popular Kung Fu camps. Our camps are the highlight of our year and we will run a 4 day camp (10am - 3pm daily) from 2nd - 5th of April 2012. For our members this is a great chance to learn a whole lot more and to have a great fun with our special martial arts games, obsticle course, weapons training, etc. You may also complete you next sash over the course of the camp!?

We welcome all of our Kung Fu 4 kids and non members over the age of 7! More info..

Competition time

In 2011 our Kung Fu kids and our Teens entered the competitive arena for the first time, doing themselves, their families and the academy instructors proud. In 2012 we intend to bring our junior members to 3 or 4 more events and bring home lots more medals. We have added an optional extra Sanshou class for those who want to push on with their Sanshou training. See the term enrolment information for more details.
