Classes run 6pm to 7pm Monday and Thursday starting 4th of Sept (14 classes in total) Course Dates: Sept 4th & 7th, 11th & 14th, 18th & 21st, 25th & 28th Oct 2nd & 5th, 9th & 12th, 16th & 19th The purpose of this course is to introduce you to the fundamentals of our Shaolin Kung Fu program. The class content will consist of a warmup with dynamic stretching, a brief cardio and strength session followed by drilling content from the 1st Belt of our Senior Kung Fu program. We generally finish the hour with a few minutes of core work before bowing out. Over the duration of the course, we will teach you the full content of the White Belt with a view to completing this grade over the last week of the course. We will then look forward to welcoming you to our full program and preparing you for the next stage of your training. The 18 classes will focus upon building your fundamental skills such as: - Stances, Movements and postures from our Kung Fu Styles - Hand techniques for punching and blocking - Kicking techniques for self defense and for future sparring - Grappling drills and escapes - Self defense against grabs, punches and low kicks. - Mobility and conditioning
